The
story to the left was written aboard the Swiss Ship Celerena on
September 24, 1962. It was handed to a news reporter for the
Irish and British Daily Mail newspapers when the rescue
helicopter landed in Cork, Ireland. It was intended as a letter
to Caruso's parents, Fred and Josephine Caruso of Nanuet, New
York. The story served as the central theme of "Born Again
Irish."
Due to the size of the article
and the amount of time it would take to load, only parts of it
being shown.
